Scoring that considers what you know and how sure you are.
Each independent response captures two signals: the answer selected and the student's confidence from 1 to 5. Correctness, learning evidence, and XP are calculated independently from confidence.
Why confidence matters
A missed answer rated 4 or 5 helps Rose-Syntax identify a possible misconception and guide recovery practice. Honest confidence ratings help you recognize what you understand and what needs another look. Confidence is tracked separately from correctness, learning progress, and XP.
